How People Were Saved
  in the First Century

They Heard the Gospel Preached

Preaching the gospel was
accomplished at
PENTECOST, Acts 2:14-41;
IN SAMARIA, Acts 8:5-13;
TO THE EUNUCH, Acts 8:35-39;
TO SAUL Acts 9:17-18;
TO CORNELIUS, Acts 10:34-48;
TO THE JAILER, Acts 16:30-34;
TO LYDIA, Acts 16:14-15.

After Hearing, Some Believed

They believed what they heard
At SAMARIA, Acts 8:12;
CORNELIUS, Acts 10:43;
THE JAILER, Acts 16:31;
THE EUNUCH believed and
confessed Jesus as
the son of God, Acts 8:37.
LYDIA, Acts 16:14.
AT PENTECOST, They must have
believed, because they
repented, Acts 2:37-38.

Then They were Baptized

They were baptized
AT PENTECOST, Acts 2:38-41;
IN SAMARIA, Acts 8:12-13;
THE EUNUCH, Acts 8:38;
SAUL, Acts 9:18;
CORNELIUS, Acts 10:48;
THE JAILER, Acts 16:33;
LYDIA, Act 16:15.

WHEN WERE THEY SAVED?
I Peter 3:21 "...baptism now saves you...."
Romans 6:4 "Therefore we have been
buried with Him through baptism into
death, in order that as Christ
was raised from the dead
through the glory of the Father,
so we too might walk in newness of life."
